Designed to Fit Your Needs

CAMP believe in quality and choice. CAMP recognize that every woman is an individual with unique needs. Their mission is simple - they dedicate the energies of their in-house research and development team to the creation of high quality and innovative bras and breast forms that satisfy and exceed the expectations of our customers.

The designer creates patterns to produce a prototype in one size, which is then extensively tested for functionality, comfort and fit. The prototype must pass this rigorous stage of testing and modifications before the full size range can be graded and further samples made up for testing. Every size in the range is tested by our panel of women who have had breast surgery, and every detail is corrected before the new bra can be passed to production.

Creating a new breast form begins with a similar process - working with and listening to our customers as they tell us about their needs and requirements for a new style. Using the detailed criteria which has been agreed upon between the design and marketing teams, the designer begins by creating a three-dimensional plaster model of the desired shape. This is used to produce a mold from which the breast form can be made. Once the initial prototype has been fine-tuned, tested and approved different sizes are graded and scaled, and molds produced for the complete size range of that product. Once again, prototypes are tested and worn by our panel of women who have had breast surgery and play an important role in our product development process. To begin the production process, a bag is formed from two or more sheets of polyurethane film, heat-sealed to form a specific breast form shape. This bag is filled with a liquid silicone, which has been formulated to an exact specification. This combination of polyurethane bag and silicone is band-molded and cured at a high temperature. Once cured, the products are removed from the mold and trimmed by hand. This final stage is critical - each breast form is closely inspected to ensure that color, weight, texture and finish are perfect.

Creating a CAMP bra or breast form is very much a hands-on process, where everyone involved is highly skilled and trained to achieve quality. Quality inspection at every stage of the process ensures that a perfect product reaches our customers every time
